Citroen is celebrating 20 years of its presence in Brazil with a new generation of its popular C3 hatchback. But this is not your typical compact car. The new Citroen C3 is an electric vehicle that promises to revolutionize the Brazilian market with its innovative design, technology, and performance.
I had the chance to test drive the new Citroen C3 in São Paulo, where it was launched earlier this month. And I have to say, I was impressed by what Citroen has achieved with this model. Here are some of the highlights of my experience.
Design: A Mix of Style and Practicality
The new Citroen C3 is a striking electric car that stands out from the crowd. It has a distinctive front end with LED headlights and a large chrome grille that features the Citroen logo. The side profile is sleek and dynamic, with a floating roofline and black wheel arches that give it a rugged look. The rear end is equally attractive, with LED taillights and a spoiler that enhances its sporty character.
The new Citroen C3 is also practical and spacious. It has a generous trunk capacity of 300 liters, which can be expanded to 922 liters by folding the rear seats. The interior is roomy and comfortable, with plenty of headroom and legroom for five passengers. The dashboard is modern and minimalist, with a 10-inch touchscreen that controls most of the functions. The seats are upholstered in recycled fabric, which adds to the eco-friendly appeal of the car.
