Renault unveiled the new Grand Kangoo at the 2023 IAA Munich motor show, a long-wheelbase version of its popular compact van that can seat up to seven people and offer a spacious cargo area. The Grand Kangoo is available with a choice of petrol, diesel, or electric powertrains and features a sleek design, sliding rear doors, and a host of advanced technologies.
What is the Grand Kangoo?
The 2024 Renault Grand Kangoo is the latest addition to the Renault Kangoo family, which has sold more than 4.4 million units worldwide since its launch in 1997. The Kangoo is a versatile vehicle that combines a van's practicality with a car's comfort and style. It is aimed at both professional and private customers who need a spacious and flexible vehicle for their daily activities.
The Grand Kangoo is the long-wheelbase variant of the Kangoo, which means it has an extra 40 cm of length compared to the standard model. This translates into more room for passengers and luggage, as well as a longer sliding door for easier access. The Grand Kangoo can accommodate up to seven people in three rows of seats or up to 3750 liters of cargo space if all the rear seats are removed.
The 2024 Renault Grand Kangoo also benefits from the new design language of the third-generation Kangoo, which debuted in 2020. It has a more refined and dynamic look, with a chrome-accented grille, LED headlights, 17-inch alloy wheels, and a range of attractive colors. The interior is also modern and ergonomic, with a digital instrument cluster, a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless charging, and multiple storage compartments.
